Research Confirms : Iphone 4 Antenna Problem

Amsterdam – The iPhone 4 is performing worse than other mobile phones if it goes about the receive of the device. Also with use of the protection case.

This comes from an investigation of PA Consulting Group. This investigation agency compared the iPhone 4 with the Blackberry 9700 and the HTC HD 2 in a special made testing area.

The receive of the phones is being watched in different kind of settings. The research the use while having the mobiles on handsfree, when it whas hold in the hands and with a protection case around it.

“In most of the cases the receive of the iPhone 4 whas the same as the other mobiles, but the performance where constant in the lower regions”, according to the research agency.

Death Grip

When the iPhone 4 is hold at the antenna, the phone does loses receive significant. “During testing of the so called “Death Grip” its signal become so low, that the tests couldn’t be executed. This effect didn’t show up with the other phones.”
